A legal and operational division of roles.
Son of founder Mijo, Jozo registered the stonemasonry as a limited liability company in 1995 and has led the workshop's development for 30 years — from hand work to today's CNC machine park. He legally represents MIJOZ d.o.o. and signs contracts.
Mihael leads day-to-day production — from incoming enquiries through CAD documentation and CNC programming to outgoing inspection. He also handles work on new materials, B2B projects and communication with architects. The operational voice of the workshop.
For legal matters (contracts, invoices, warranties), the director signs. For technical matters (measurement, quotation, execution), Mihael or the workshop team leads on site. Two phone numbers in the footer: 098 339 086 (Jozo) · 099 226 9066 (Mihael — preferred for new enquiries).
From hand chisel to 5-axis CNC.
Opened the first workshop in Čepin and cut the first headstones in Slavonia. Everything was done by hand — chisel, hammer, compressor.
Son Jozo Nikolić formalises the trade as a limited liability company at the Commercial Court in Osijek — share capital 200,500 kuna (EUR 26,610.92), fully paid in. The name MIJOZ is composed of father (MIjo) and son (JOZo). MBS 030049613, OIB 80538053241, EUID HRSR.030049613.
The second generation brings the first CNC machines into the workshop. The stonemason's trade acquires repeatable industrial precision — without losing the hand's judgement of how the stone lies.
Mihael Nikolić takes over production. The machine park expands to a 5-axis CNC centre, a 12-stage polishing line and a laser 3D scanner for digital templating. The client base broadens from memorials to architectural interiors and facades.
